Formula used — Working height (drives the leg/jack solve) = Floor height − Slab thickness. Clear height (beam soffit, shown for reference) = Floor height − Beam depth, since beam top and slab top are level.
Erected stack (base to top, jack bears direct to floor): Bottom jack → Leg makeup (stacked, includes spigot height per joint where applicable) → Top jack → Decking (Ply + Sec beam + Prim beam). The roller is not part of this — it only touches the ground once jacks retract for flying.
Flying stack (base to top, jack retracted to minimum): Roller → Bottom jack (min) → Leg makeup (fixed) → Top jack (min) → Decking.
Solve: Effective leg height (piece sum + spigot × joints) + Jack extension = Working height − Roller − Decking. Configs are solved low floor → high floor. Each floor now shows multiple valid leg configurations when available; the first option is the recommended one, and the user can choose another option. The selected configuration is then carried forward to the next floor.
This is a sizing aid only — verify against manufacturer jack stroke, leg piece stock on hand, and site conditions before use.
